About us & the program
Hi! We are Kunstpodium T: an art space for emerging artists. From the city heart of Tilburg we initiate encounters between artists through experiment, exchange and community-based practice. If you’re selected for our Apprentice/Master program, you’ll join forces with three fellow recent graduates and a renowned artist. After getting to know each other and each other's work, you’ll create an exhibition in a spirit of collectivity. This season we’ll select around 32 recently graduated artists. Participation is compensated with a decent exhibition fee.

*It is possible to apply as an autodidact. Please send an e-mail to contact@kunstpodium-t.com. We will determine your eligibility for our program on a case-by-case basis.

YEARMASTER

The Yearmaster is the program’s ambassador. They invite the Masters, help us select the Apprentices and form the groups. This season's Yearmaster is Kiki Petratou!

MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM

We'll select around 32 artists (Apprentices). In small groups, they join forces with a renowned & experienced artist (Master). Together they create an exhibition in a spirit of collectivity, learning with – and from – each other. The collective nature of the program makes you take a closer look at your practice. The program is a way to experiment within your artistic practice and exhibit. We provide you with a vibrant, durable community. Participation compensated with a decent exhibition fee.

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS & JAN NAAIJKENS PRIZE
At the end of each season, four groups are selected to make a new group exhibition, this time without their Master. During this ‘Season Highlights’ exhibition, an independent jury will select a winning group for the Jan Naaijkens Prize.

REQUIREMENTS
The Apprentice/Master program is for 2025 graduates from Dutch or Belgian art academies with an autonomous practice. Most important is your drive to gain experience in the art world, being an active part of our community and eagerness to develop your practice.

We expect your dedication to the program by spending at least two days a month on the program, attending the kick-off, two community days and the opening events of the other groups.
